SUMMARY:Literacy Night
DESCRIPTION:Our annual Sinclair Literacy Night will be held May 14 from 4-5:30PM and will feature crafts\, literacy stations\, and of course a chance to shop at our Scholastic Book Fair. This year we’ve also partnered with the Houston SPCA for a Giving with Greta Event that will honor the memory of Superstar Angel Greta Toranzo\, who tragically lost her life in the Kerr County Flood.\n\n\n\nWhile our literacy night is free\, we kindly request donations from the supply drive list as “event admission”. Collection boxes will be set up at the entrance to the event and will remain on campus through the end of the month. A matching gift has been created through the Greta Katherine Toranzo Memorial Fund and for a limited time\, every donation will be matched dollar for dollar\, up to $15\,000. Funds will directly benefit the Houston SPCA supporting animal rescue\, veterinary care\, and equine rehabilitation\, reflecting the life Greta lived and the love she shared.\n\n\n\nGreta’s compassion lives on through every act of kindness given in her name. We thank you for helping us keep her memory and spirit alive.\n\n \n  \n
