Jonas is a rising 9th grader at SPX, Link is a rising 7th grader at Hogg, Dash is a rising 2nd grader at Sinclair, and Mac is my red-headed sidekick who likes to cause general mischief and mayhem in the front office.

I’ve served 9 years on the Sinclair PTO board in the Secretary (1 year), Internal Vice President (2 years),and President (6 years) roles and was named HISD’s Parent Volunteer of the Year in 2025. Additionally I serve as the VP of Communications at Hogg and have previously served as the newsletter chair at FBMS and on the FBMS Athletics Booster.

It’s been my privilege to serve the Sinclair community for so long, and I truly enjoy supporting and advocating for families, students, and teachers, seeing large projects to completion, and assisting in school functions and events. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish in the 26-27 school year.

Secretary – Ashley Tusa

About Me: Hi! I’m Ashley Tusa, and I’m excited to serve as PTO Secretary this year. My husband, Jeremy, and I love being part of the Lazybrook community and all the connections that make it such a great place for families. As we looked ahead to Joseph starting Kindergarten this year, Sinclair felt like the perfect fit because of its welcoming community, supportive environment, and strong family involvement.
In my day job, I lead Talent Acquisition Operations, where I spend a lot of time organizing information, managing communications, and keeping processes running smoothly. Those skills translate well to the PTO Secretary role, and I’m excited to use them to help support our school community.
I’m a big believer in strong partnerships between families and schools, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to get involved and give back. Outside of work and volunteering, you can usually find me crocheting or playing mahjong. I’m looking forward to getting to know more Sinclair families and helping make this a great year!

PTO Responsibilities: Keep the minutes of all general and executive board meetings; be responsible for correspondence; maintain master documents and records of the PTO.
