| Sinclair Silent Auction | |
|---|---|
| Where can I learn more information on this year’s auction? | Visit the Silent Auction page! |
| Bidder Frenzy Description | Get ready for Bidder Frenzy, one of the most exciting parts of the auction! During this fast‑paced activity, you’ll have the chance to purchase items like gift cards or museum memberships at face value (Taste of Texas, Tiny Boxwoods, Houston Zoo), giving you a great opportunity to s nag something you know you’ll use. Here’s how it works: the auctioneer will briefly preview each gift card so you can decide whether you want it. Then they’ll look down, look back up into the crowd, and the first hand they see wins the item. No bidding, no back‑and‑forth, just quick action and pure fun! It’s simple, energetic, and always a crowd favorite so don’t blink, or you might miss your chance! |
| Raise the Paddle Description | At the end of the live auction there will still be a chance to give! The auctioneer starts at $1500 and works down to $100, and when she calls the amount you’d like to pledge, simply raise your paddle to donate. When we get to $100, our auctioneer will call for the Last Superstar Hero! Everytime you raise your paddle at $100 you will donate $100 and the last Superstar hero standing will win a prize. |
| Heads or Tails Game Details | Buy your blinky ring and head to the dance floor when you hear a call for Heads or Tails. The game is simple; you dance while the music plays and when it stops you’ll be asked to pick Heads or Tails. Once everyone has chosen their side, a coin will be flipped and only those who chose correctly will stay to continue playing. The game will continue until we have 1 person remaining and they will win the jackpot. |
